Faith, Leadership & Service
Julian Blake is a Christian leader, educator and mentor whose story is rooted in faith, purpose and service. A Physical Education teacher and award-winning cross country coach, he’s guided countless students and athletes to discover their strength — both on and off the field. Blake’s faith came alive in his early thirties, when he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and found the true meaning of forgiveness, love and grace. Since then, he has dedicated his life to living those values every day: through teaching, coaching and community service.
Coach, Teacher & Mentor
Julian Blake believes that true leadership begins with compassion. Whether he’s on the track with his runners or in the gym with his students, he strives to create an environment where everyone feels seen, supported and capable of greatness. As the 2014 ECIC Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year, Coach Blake led the Williamsville North Varsity team to its first Section VI title in over 25 years, marking a historic moment for the program. But his greatest reward isn’t found in trophies or titles — it’s in the confidence, character and perseverance his athletes carry long after the race is done.
