Dr. Latame Phillips is a certified business entrepreneur coach, TEDx speaker and proud U.S. Army combat veteran. Dr. Phillips is also a published author and contributor to collaborative works exploring resilience, leadership and the Black male experience. Born in Mombasa, Kenya and raised in San Diego, California, Dr. Phillips has built a career grounded in discipline, leadership and personal accountability.
Education & Training
Dr. Latame Phillips maintains an extensive academic background in business leadership and entrepreneurship. Dr. Phillips is an alumnus of the University of Southern California (USC) and Trinity University.
Dr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Management from the University of Southern California. He later earned both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Entrepreneurship and Business Administration from Trinity University.
Through his academic studies and professional work, Dr. Phillips developed expertise in business leadership, strategy and entrepreneurship.
Veteran & Leadership Experience
Dr. Latame Phillips is a proud U.S. Army combat veteran who served during Operation Enduring Iraqi Freedom. His time in military service reinforced the values of discipline, accountability and service that continue to shape his leadership philosophy today.
After his military service, Dr. Phillips built experience in corporate finance and leadership roles while also mentoring entrepreneurs and professionals seeking to grow their careers and businesses.
