Family-Oriented Individual
When asked by her friends who she is at her core, they’ll all tell you that Erika Radu is a family-oriented individual. To Radu, “family” is more than just a select few blood relatives who she travels with on family vacations or visits during the holidays. Instead, she embraces everyone in her corner — from her coworkers and friends to fellow volunteers in the community — as part of her family. A genuinely caring person who is always willing to lend a helping hand, Radu’s sense of family and togetherness is her driving force in life. It’s a huge part of why she is so passionate about volunteering and community work. Radu is the type of person who would give a family member the shirt off of her back, if need be. And of course, her family is everyone in her community — even the lovely people she has yet to meet! She truly embraces each and every volunteer opportunity as a chance to positively impact someone else’s life.
Community Work
Erika Radu is a longtime volunteer. She has supported numerous community work projects over the years. Most notably, Radu is known in her community for volunteering at nursing homes, hospitals and senior centers. She is also a longtime gift giver and supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which she adamantly supports. Continuing with her passion for helping others and embracing the community as her family, Radu is also known for sponsoring families in need during the holidays. The holiday season can be challenging and chaotic for anyone. But when you struggle to put food on the table, the joy of the season can feel bleak. That’s why Radu loves being able to put a smile on the faces of a family each holiday season.
