Jag Rai is a Positive Mindset Coach and Athletic Development Trainer whose work centers on helping athletes become stronger, more focused and more confident in competition. He works with athletes on the mental side of performance — crafting young athletes into individuals who are capable of maintaining composure under pressure and the ability to recover from setbacks.
As a proudly Punjabi Canadian, Jag Rai brings a deep sense of community and cultural identity to everything he does. Based in Canada, he is committed to making quality coaching accessible to athletes of all backgrounds, and serves as a visible role model for South Asian youth pursuing sport. His Sikh values of service, humility and dedication to others are woven into his coaching philosophy and his broader work in the community.

Jag Rai is also the Co-owner of Yaar Sports League, a community-driven youth basketball organization. As Lead Coach at Yaar Sports League, Rai guides athlete development hands-on. Participants enjoy year-round programming, with different leagues for different seasons.
As Co-owner and Lead Coach of Yaar Sports League, Jag Rai helps young athletes build skills that strengthen them not only in their sports — but in life, all around. Rai explains that his approach to mentorship isn’t just about sports: it’s about helping kids build confidence.
