Eric Nelson Colorado is a dedicated Social Justice Advocate whose work centers on restorative justice, community empowerment and relational healing. His advocacy is grounded in the belief that strong communities are built through dialogue, accountability and access to supportive resources. Through his work with The Conflict Center, Nelson helps individuals and families navigate conflict in constructive, nonviolent and emotionally intelligent ways. His approach emphasizes dignity, listening and repair — prioritizing long-term stability over punitive responses. He is particularly passionate about issues related to housing stability, mental health access, equity and mentorship within underserved and marginalized communities.

Community Work Leadership Consulting

Exclusively on the Bartering Exchange Network, Eric Nelson Colorado Social Justice Advocate will provide a complimentary 30-minute consultation focused on community work, leadership development or restorative justice principles — as applicable to volunteer & community work led by nonprofit initiatives and charities. During the session, Nelson will offer guidance tailored to the needs of the individual or organization, drawing from his experience in advocacy, conflict transformation and community-based leadership.

This consultation may include discussion centered around:

  • Navigating conflict within teams or communities
  • Applying restorative justice principles in leadership or civic work
  • Strengthening communication, trust and accountability
