Keith Sanders Raleigh NC firefighter previously served his community as a member of the Western Wake Fire Rescue. Now he supports his community through volunteer work projects, including Habitat for Humanity.
Firefighter
Keith Sanders has completed Firefighter Training 1 & 2. Throughout his career with the Fire Department, he worked closely with the Western Wake Fire Rescue team. Keith maintained this position for four years, from 1999 to 2003. Having the opportunity to serve his community in matters of emergency was extremely rewarding for the firefighter, who has always been passionate about helping others. Although he is no longer a part of the Western Wake team, he still actively participates in efforts that support members of fire departments both locally and nationally.
Community Work
In recent years, Keith Sanders has become committed to participating in community service efforts in his local area. He has volunteered for the benefit of numerous organizations and projects. In particular, Keith has offered his skills in construction for such nonprofit organizations as Habitat for Humanity. This has proven to be an incredibly valuable and enriching experience for the volunteer, especially when he is honored with the opportunity to meet the individuals and families who the projects support! Along the way of his volunteer work journey, Keith has learned a great deal about volunteering overall. In many of the projects he has participated in, he has even taken a more active managerial role. He now considers himself to be an expert in volunteer management and community work event planning. Keith is happy to bring these skills and services to the Bartering Exchange Network for the benefit of nonprofit organizations and projects around the world. In continuity with his commitment to the community, Keith features critical safety tips in an official firefighter blog series on his website.
