Gardening Enthusiast
Favoring the flavors of fresh and local produce, Lisa Fox Dombrowski is a major supporter of the farm-to-table approach. Echoing the movement’s ‘know where your food comes from’ slogan, Fox Dombrowski advocates for food traceability. In her own kitchen, she particularly enjoys taking this attitude a step further in what she calls garden-to-table.
According to Lisa Fox Dombrowski’s taste buds, nothing pleases the palate like fresh ingredients! That’s why years ago, she decided to leap into the world of gardening. Initially starting small, Fox Dombrowski’s journey began with a modest patio garden. To test the waters, her first crops were of the herbal variety. A fan of mixology, Fox’s first patio garden consisted of mint, basil and cardamom plants. Quickly, the amateur gardener realized that she had quite the green thumb! Ever since, Lisa Fox has been fascinated by gardening and small scale farming practices. In her own garden, she enjoys testing unique techniques, like aquaponics and permaculture.
With the upcoming launch of her ‘beveragesNblossoms’ blog, Lisa Fox Dombrowski will share her adventures in intertwining the words of mixology and patio gardening!
