Raised in both Havana, Cuba and Oakland, USA, Lucas Jubb developed a multicultural understanding at a young age, helping him excel throughout his career in business management and beyond.
He found himself fascinated with the cultural diversity of people all over the world. After completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology at St. Mary’s College in 2000, Jubb joined Club Med as an Activities Director. A travel-based position, this experience enabled him to see more of the world and its people. He traveled across the United States, dabbling in the varying climates of Colorado and Florida. He even found himself stamping the pages of his passport with adventures in the Dominican Republic. In order to better understand the people of the places he visited, Jubb found himself diving into different languages. Through his travels, Lucas Jubb has become fluent in English, Spanish and French.
Traveling to different parts of the world and studying various languages helped Lucas Jubb to develop a more multicultural understanding of Psychology. His role as an Activities Director at Club Med helped him in sharpening his leadership skills. A typical day consisted of managing entertainment shows and events to keep the Club Med travelers amused. He would often pull together sports-based activities. Encouraging the participants to do their best and have fun while doing so was fulfilling to him. But the experience was only a taste of what would bloom into his passion for coaching and mentoring others.
Today, Lucas Jubb works as a Project Manager for United Way in Chattanooga, Tennessee. United Way is an organization that develops solutions for communities struggling to access proper healthcare and essential resources. Through his work with the group, Jubb is able to empower and motivate others in a productive manner that matters.
On a freelance basis, Lucas Jubb works as a Business Management Consultant. As such, he has assisted various entrepreneurs and business professionals by supplying them with the tools they need to succeed. Developing and implementing business strategies is the backbone of his work. Helping other professionals thrive and succeed makes his consulting worth the hard work and effort.
