Sailing Lessons
For this barter, Surfing and Sailing Instructor Tom Whittemore will take you on a tour of a traditional sailboat. If you are someone who is interested in learning more about sailing, but aren’t sure where to stay: this is for you! Whittemore will walk you through his own personal sailboat and make himself available to answer any questions you may have along the way. If the tour piques your interest in any way, the Sailing Instructor encourages you to schedule a full lesson. A rigorous, though rewarding water sport, sailing is far from something you can learn overnight — or in a 15 minute lesson! But this barter will be a great way to dip your toes into an already existing interest in sailing.
Surfing Lessons
In his Introductory Surfing Lessons, Tom Whittemore typically helps his clients select the board that best suits their size and ability level. For this barter, Whittemore will provide you with a lighter introduction by explaining basics of his own surfboard. The Surfing Instructor will then invite you for a more in-depth introduction lesson: available to Bartering Exchange Network members at half price!
